Tripod Partners in the United Kingdom are seeking a qualified Fostering Supervising Social Worker to join a dedicated fostering team in North Somerset. You will provide regular supervision and support to foster carers and manage a caseload to safeguard children.

This role involves statutory visits, quality monitoring, and collaboration with children’s social workers and other professionals. You will maintain records, produce reports, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and fostering

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with fostering experience.
• Registered with social work regulator.
• Strong communication and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular supervision and guidance to foster carers.
• Manage a caseload of foster carers and assess needs.
• Undertake statutory visits in line with foster care requirements.
• Monitor the quality of care provided to children and young people.
• Support foster carers through challenging situations and placements.
• Contribute to reviews and ongoing development of carers.
• Coordinate with children’s social workers and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and produce high-quality reports.
