Tripod Partners is assisting a Devon-based team to recruit an experienced Supervising Social Worker for the North & Mid Fostering Team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality supervision, support and guidance to foster carers in line with the National Minimum Standards for Fostering and England Regulations.

You will undertake unannounced visits, contribute to annual reviews, support training, and promote best practice across the fostering service.

Supervising Social Worker needed for our Fostering Team in Devon, paying £36ph!

We are seeking anexperienced Supervising Social Workerto join ourNorth & Mid Fostering Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and experienced social worker to play a key role in supporting foster carers and helping to ensure children and young people experiencesafe, stable and thriving placements.

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will provide high-quality support, advice and supervision to foster carers, working in accordance with theNational Minimum Standards for Fostering, Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011, and all other relevant legislation and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing regular supervision, support and professional advice to foster carers.
• Undertakingunannounced visitsand contributing to the ongoing monitoring of placements.
• Participating inannual reviewsof foster carers.
• Contributing to quality assurance and the continuous improvement of fostering practice.
• Supporting the delivery of training to prospective and existing foster carers.
• Promoting high standards of professional social work practice across the fostering service.
• Working collaboratively with children, young people, foster carers, families and other professionals.
• Ensuring appropriate recording, planning and monitoring of work undertaken.
• Applying sound knowledge of fostering regulations, legislation and the legal options available for children who may be cared for by people within their network.
• Working flexibly across theNorth & Mid Fostering areato meet the needs of the service.
