Job summary

Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council is seeking dedicated Supervising Social Workers for Cardiff Fostering Service. You will recruit, assess, support and supervise foster carers, kinship carers and connected persons, ensuring safe, stable, and nurturing care for children.

The role blends visits, office and home-based work within a supportive team. You will hold a Social Work degree, be registered with Social Care Wales, and use strengths-based practice to inform assessments and care planning.

Qualifications

• Essential Social Work degree and registration with Social Care Wales.
• Proven ability to write concise records and reports.
