Job description

We are looking for a Fostering Social Worker to join an Independent Fostering Agency in the South West.

ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS POST QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE IN THE UK AS A SOCIAL WORKER.

About the team

You will be joining a close-knit team where support and progression is offered to locums. As a Fostering Social Worker, you will be undertaking supervision and support of foster carers as well as completing write-ups based from home. Caseloads remain very manageable at 7-10 carers, and you will have a hybrid model meaning you are able to work from home. Mileage to and from visits is also paid from home.

About you

The ideal candidate will have good experience undertaking supervision of foster carers as well as working with Children and Families ensuring the best outcome for the child. Other relevant experience such as Looked After Children and Leaving Care will also be helpful in being successful in this role. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years experience working in a Children setting is essential for this position.
