Job summary

Vetro Recruitment invites applications for a Supervising Social Worker based in Devon, with regular visits to Taunton. You will work with foster carers to ensure they are Ofsted-ready, meet statutory KPIs, and maintain a child-centred approach while supporting a regional programme across the South West.

The role requires SWE-registered social workers with extensive safeguarding knowledge, Form F assessment experience, and a readiness to travel up to 90 minutes per carer.

Qualifications

• Three-year undergraduate degree or two-year postgraduate degree in social work with SWE registration.
• Extensive safeguarding knowledge and familiarity with Children Act 1989 and Fostering Regulations 2011.
• Experience conducting Form F assessments and working with foster carers.
• Willingness to travel across rural areas and occasional evenings/weekends.
