GSK's flagship Ware site in Hertfordshire is hiring a Technical Specialist (Site Forward Deployed Engineer) to lead the on-site delivery of AI-enabled digital solutions within the Global Supply Chain Digital and Technology function. You will translate strategic AI opportunities into PoCs and MVPs, working closely with site teams to validate value and feasibility.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant degree in CS, software engineering, data science or AI.
• Experience delivering AI, data analytics, smart manufacturing, or digital-transformation initiatives.
• Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Python or other languages.
• Knowledge of manufacturing or supply-chain operations.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to shape and deliver technology solutions.
• Familiarity with AI-native engineering methods and governance requirements (security, privacy, GxP).

Aufgaben

• Embed with strategic GSC sites and business teams to understand challenges, data, and value opportunities.
• Translate opportunities into framed use cases and executable technical solutions.
• Design, build and validate PoCs, PoVs and MVPs using real site data.
• Provide hands-on engineering across AI, data, integration, and automation.
• Make evidence-based continue/adapt/stop recommendations based on value, feasibility, adoption, risk, and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with Code Orange, Responsible AI, cybersecurity, and data governance.
• Partner with GSK product teams to transition validated solutions for industrialization.
• Resolve deployment barriers across legacy systems and fragmented data.
• Create reusable patterns, templates, and architectures from site learnings.
• Build site capability through delivery coaching and knowledge transfer.
