GSK Barnard Castle is seeking a Technical Specialist (Site Forward Deployed Engineer) to lead AI-enabled digital solutions within the Global Supply Chain at a key manufacturing site. The role embeds into site and business teams to rapidly translate Smart Manufacturing opportunities into PoCs, PoVs and MVPs with practical, on-site engineering delivery.

The candidate will apply AI-native methods to validate business value, governance needs and scalability, while aligning with Code Orange,

Formación

Experience delivering AI, data, analytics and digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing/supply chain.
Strong software engineering skills; familiarity with modern development frameworks.
Ability to translate business needs into measurable technical use cases and PoCs.

Responsabilidades

Embed with GSC sites and business teams to understand operational challenges and opportunities.
Translate priorities into clearly framed use cases and executable technical solutions.
Design, build and validate PoCs, PoVs and MVPs using real site data and workflows.
Provide hands-on engineering across AI, data, integration and automation.
