Job summary

Planet Pharma seeks a laboratory-based Scientist – Injectable Formulation Development (Biologics) to join an EU-based team driving formulation development across the development lifecycle for antibody formats.

You will conduct analytical studies, contribute to pre‑formulation, and prepare protocols and reports, applying HPLC/UPLC, iCE, UV spectroscopy, DLS, CGE, and rheology to ensure robust, stable formulations within a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ hands‑on laboratory experience.
• Strong technical expertise in protein/antibody analytical methods (HPLC/UPLC, iCE, UV spectroscopy, DLS, CGE, rheology, and sub‑visible particle analysis).
• Experience in formulation development and/or laboratory automation is advantageous.
• High level of numeracy with the ability to critically interpret data.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical experiments and enabling studies to support non‑clinical and clinical development.
• Contribute to pre‑formulation and formulation activities, including lab set‑up and maintenance of technical resources.
• Prepare scientific documentation such as protocols and reports, drawing on a strong understanding of biochemical and biophysical degradation pathways in antibody‑based molecules.
• Present experimental findings to project teams and stakeholders.
