Job summary

Planet Pharma is recruiting a laboratory-based Scientist for Injectable Formulation Development (Biologics) to support the advancement of biologics programmes from early toxicology studies through to late-stage clinical trials.

The role focuses on contributing to pre-formulation and formulation activities, with an emphasis on antibody-based molecules. A strong background in analytical chemistry and formulation science is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Biology or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on laboratory experience.
• Strong technical expertise in protein/antibody analytical methods (HPLC/UPLC, iCE, UV spectroscopy, DLS, CGE, rheology, sub-visible particle analysis).
• Experience in formulation development and/or laboratory automation is advantageous.
• High numeracy with ability to interpret data.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical experiments and enabling studies to support non-clinical and clinical development.
• Contribute to pre-formulation and formulation activities, including lab set-up and maintenance of technical resources.
• Prepare scientific documentation such as protocols and reports, drawing on biochemical and biophysical degradation pathways in antibody-based molecules.
• Present experimental findings to project teams and stakeholders.
