Job summary

Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team in Brackley, UK invites an Industrial Placement in Reliability. You will gain exposure to the complete F1 car lifecycle from concept to racing, working on real engineering challenges within a fast-paced, state‑of‑the‑art environment.

You’ll collaborate with Design, Build, Test and Race Team members, taking ownership of your work and developing capabilities across reliability engineering, processes and design standards.

Qualifications

• Be studying towards a degree in an engineering discipline with a mechanical focus.
• Have at least one year remaining on your current course from start date.
• Understand fundamental engineering principles.
• Take ownership of work and drive projects with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support reliability and engineering processes across the car lifecycle.
• Work on real engineering challenges from day one.
• Collaborate with Design, Build, Test and Race Team on projects.
• Contribute to identifying and resolving on-track reliability issues.
