Job summary

Morson Talent is recruiting an experienced Composite Laminator to join a world-renowned Formula 1 team in Oxfordshire. The role involves producing high-precision composite components in a fast-paced motorsport environment.

You will prepare materials, lay up pre-pregs, check ply orientation, and vacuum-bag components with leak checks to ensure top-quality outputs. Day and night shifts available on a contract initially until March 2027.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Composite Laminator within Formula 1, motorsport, aerospace or a closely related high-performance industry.
• Strong knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
• Proficiency in composite lay-up techniques, vacuum bagging and autoclave processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare composite materials, tooling and moulds for lamination.
• Complete hand lay-up of pre-preg composite materials in accordance with specifications.
• Ensure the correct orientation, sequence and number of plies for each component.
• Vacuum-bag components, carry out leak checks and maintain required quality standards.
