Job summary

Matchtech is seeking experienced Composite Laminators to join a motorsport team on a long-term contract until Summer 2026. You'll work on cutting-edge carbon fibre components in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment for elite motorsport projects.

Responsibilities include lay-up of pre-preg carbon fibre, following drawings and lay-up manuals, autoclave preparation, quality checks, and collaboration with engineers to hit production targets. Night shifts and weekend work required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a laminator in F1, motorsport, or aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of composite materials and lay-up techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Willing to work night shifts and weekends.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Team player with proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lay-up of pre-preg carbon fibre components to tight tolerances.
• Work from engineering drawings and lay-up manuals.
• Trim, bag, and prepare parts for autoclave curing.
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and team leads to meet production targets.
