Job summary

Cranswick Country Foods Eye in Eye, Suffolk, is seeking reliable yard and forklift operators to join our team. You will operate counterbalance forklifts, telehandlers and shunter trucks, move trailers, weigh and record trailer data, and help keep the yard clean and safe.

We offer a competitive hourly rate from £15.46 (including attendance bonus), auto-enrolment pension, wellbeing discounts, cycle-to-work, gym discounts, free parking, canteen facilities and death in service insurance.

Qualifications

• Valid Shunter Licence or HGV required.
• Counterbalance forklift licence required.
• Telehandler licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance forklift or other hand truck.
• Operate Telehandler to move and tip dolavs into a trailer.
• Operate Shunter truck to move trailers on/off loading bays and in Offal area.
• Weigh the Offal trailers on the weight bridge to maintain trailer fill.
• Record required information on daily checks (trailer lists / trailer checks).
• Follow quality and customer service standards set forth by the company.
