Job summary

Neos Recruitment Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking a Workshop Engineer to support the Workshop Manager in the maintenance, inspection and repair of assets, while ensuring all activities comply with HSEQ standards and safety requirements.

You will collaborate with Field Service Engineers, Service Admin and Parts teams across branch and head office to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement within a close-knit team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of forklift / materials handling equipment engineering.
• Diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Numeracy skills.
• Analytical with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Able to work to tight deadlines to turn work around.
• Flexible and willing to contribute by helping others.
• Courteous, friendly, and tactful.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and service Forklift trucks, Material Handling Equipment.
• General upkeep of Hire fleet, including PDIs.
• Work closely with the parts department to identify correct parts.
• Adhere to site Health & Safety requirements.
• Follow and maintain the company’s, business, and team objectives.
• Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge for effective performance; attend training as required.
• Adhere to Quality and Compliance responsibilities and policies.
