Job summary

Neos is a growing materials handling solutions company based in the UK. The role supports a Workshop Manager in maintaining assets, performing inspections, and preparing items for sales and repairs, while ensuring safety and adherence to HSEQ standards.

You will work with Field Service Engineers, Service Admin, and Parts teams, in a collaborative workshop environment. Requires forklift equipment experience and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

Job description

Equipment. General upkeep of Hire fleet, Including PDIs. Work closely with the parts department to identify correct parts. Adhere to site Health & Safety requirements. Follow and maintain the companies, business, and team objectives. Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for effective performance of the role and attend training courses as required. Adhere to Group companies Quality and Compliance responsibilities, and policies and procedures. Adhere to Health & Safety responsibilities and procedures. The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential Previous experience of forklift / materials handling equipment engineering Diagnostic and problem-solving skills Numeracy skills Analytical with an eye for detail Excellent communications skills, Able to work to tight deadlines, to turn work around.

Flexible and willing to contribute by helping others Courteous, friendly, and tactful

Desirable NVQ in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Experience in the materials handling and plant industry or similar Familiarity / good working knowledge of field service Software (ie working from a tablet / hand held device)
