Job summary

Jungheinrich UK Ltd is seeking a Field-Based Forklift Engineer to join their expert service team covering Milton Keynes. As part of this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on Jungheinrich material handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Forklift Engineer or in a similar mechanical/electrical role, alongside strong customer service skills and a full UK driving licence. Competitive salary, overtime, and excellent benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, or similar role.

Your Role

As a Forklift Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive first‑class service by maintaining and repairing a range of Jungheinrich material handling equipment. Your responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Performing routine servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance
• Providing technical support and guidance to customers
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and professionalism

Qualifications

• Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Technician, or similar mechanical/electrical role
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diagnostics
