Job summary

Jungheinrich UK is expanding its expert service team and is seeking a Forklift Engineer to join the field-based operations covering Wakefield and Doncaster. You will maintain and repair Jungheinrich material handling equipment to keep customer sites running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Forklift Engineer or similar mechanical/electrical role.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Performing routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
• Providing technical support and guidance to customers

Your Role:

As a Forklift Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive first‑class service by maintaining and repairing a range of Jungheinrich material handling equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Performing routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
• Providing technical support and guidance to customers
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and professionalism

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Technician, or similar mechanical/electrical role
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diagnostics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
