Job summary

Brightwork are looking for Forklift Truck Drivers and Warehouse Operatives with Materials Handling Equipment experience for our established client in Uddingston. You will require an in-date Forklift Licence to be considered for this role.

The role operates on a two-week rotating shift pattern: Early 6am–2:30pm and Back 2:00pm–10:30pm. Typical duties include supporting safe warehouse operations, assisting with food product quality, stock checks, data entry, training new staff, and covering for

Responsibilities

• Complete stock counts and investigate stock issues.
• Use warehouse computer systems to manage stock and paperwork.
• Train and support new warehouse team members.
• Help lead the team and cover the Shift Manager when needed.
• Work with planning, engineering, quality, and distribution teams.
• Follow all health and safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.

Forklift Truck Drivers and Warehouse Operatives

Brightwork are looking for Forklift Truck Drivers and Warehouse Operatives with Material Handling Equipment experience for our established client in Uddingston.

You will require an in-date Forklift Licence to be considered for this role.

Your Time at Work

The role will operate on a two-week rotating shift pattern.

• Early Shift: 6am to 2:30pm
• Back Shift: 2:00pm to 10:30pm

Day to day tasks are:

• Help run the warehouse safely and smoothly.
• Support the making of food products to high quality standards.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean, tidy, and ready for inspections at all times.
• Check stock levels and make sure products are stored correctly and rotated properly.
• Complete stock counts and investigate any stock issues.
• Use warehouse computer systems to manage stock and paperwork.
• Train and support new warehouse team members.
• Help lead the team and cover for the Shift Manager when needed.
• Work with planning, engineering, quality, and distribution teams.
• Follow all health and safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.

Key Information and Benefits

• Pay is £15.83 per hour
• Guaranteed 40 hour work week with occasional overtime hours available
