Job summary

Brightwork Ltd is seeking a Forklift Driver to join their Goods-In/Out team in Motherwell. The role involves operating a counterbalance forklift, moving palletised stock from production to storage, loading and unloading trailers and recording goods entering the warehouse.

This temporary position offers rotating shifts of 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, with immediate starts and regular overtime paid at enhanced rates. A UK forklift licence and reliable transport are preferred due to location.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a busy goods-in/out environment.
• Current forklift licence / refresher valid in the UK within the last 3 years.
• Comfortable working near machinery and in a rotating shift pattern.
• Own transport may be required due to location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift for the majority of the shift.
• Move palletised stock from production to storage areas.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Record goods-in and incoming raw materials.

On behalf of a client, who are a specialist national manufacturer based in Eurocentral area, we are seeking a forklift driver to join their goods-in team with an excellent chance to go permanent in due course.

Your Time at Work

• Role involves operating a counterbalance forklift truck for the majority of the shift.
• Moving palletised stock from the production area to storage.
• Loading and unloading trailers
• Taking goods-in and recording raw materials entering the warehouse.
• Ensuring safety and meeting quality standards

Our Perfect Worker

• Previous experience in a busy distribution centre or manufacturing warehouse is desirable
• Forklift licence must be current / refreshed in the UK in the last 3 years.
• Comfortable working near machinery
• Reliable and committed to working a rotating shift pattern
• Own transport may be required due to location and shifts.
