Job Overview:

• Role: Forklift Driver (Counterbalance)
• Pay rate: £13.85
• Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday (5 nights per week)
• Hours: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Night Shift)
• Job Type: Full-time, long-term temporary contract with a direct route to a permanent role based on performance and attendance.
• Location: Peterborough

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Safely operate a Counterbalance forklift to move, stack, and transport specialized components within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Load & Unload: Securely offload raw materials from delivery vehicles and load outgoing distribution trucks.
• Stock Management: Organize storage bays and ensure fragile manufacturing materials are stored correctly to prevent damage.
• Safety Checks: Perform mandatory inspections on your forklift machinery.

What We Are Looking For:

• Valid Licence: A current, accredited Counterbalance Forklift certificate (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent).
• Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, engineering, or heavy goods environment is highly desirable. Handling fragile or oversized loads (like glass) is a major advantage.
• Reliability: A punctual individual who is committed to a permanent night shift schedule.
