Staffline is recruiting for Counterbalance Drivers in Kegworth, Derby, for a busy distribution centre handling construction equipment. Immediate start available, with fixed morning or afternoon shifts and pay rates between £13.80 and £23.46 per hour.

Roles include loading/unloading, stock movement, and adherence to health and safety. Counterbalance (or Teletruck) licenses accepted; ~1 year driving experience preferred. Regular overtime and full training provided.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance license required.
• Teletruck licenses accepted as alternative.
• Experience driving counterbalance forklifts preferred.

Responsabilités

• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Moving stock around the warehouse (on and off of racking).
• Working with a health and safety focus at all times.
• Occasional other general warehouse tasks such as receiving and scanning stock.

Great opportunity to work as a Counterbalance Driver for our world renowned logistics client in a busy distribution centre who are responsible for dispatching construction equipment.

Staffline is recruiting for Counterbalance Drivers in Kegworth, Derby.

Immediate start available (subject to successful assessment).

The rate of pay is £13.80 - £23.46 per hour.

£13.80 hours worked between 06:00 - 18:00

£16.56 hours worked between 18:00 - 06:00

Overtime paid after 37.5 hours worked:

• £20.70 hours worked between 06:00 - 18:00
• £23.46 hours worked between 18:00 - 06:00

This is a full-time role working on fixed morning or afternoon shifts, the hours of work are:

• Monday to Friday:
• Earlies 6am - 2pm
• Lates 2pm - 10pm

Shift premium after 6pm

Applicants must hold a Counterbalance License, we will also accept any Teletruck licenses!

Your Time at Work

As a FLT Counterbalance Driver your duties include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock around the warehouse (on and off of racking)
• Working with a health & safety focus at all times
• Other general warehouse roles may include receiving and scanning stock

This role will require some occasional heavy lifting.

The role is split between manual work and driving - please note you will not be on the Counterbalance all the time.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will show good attention to detail and be able to follow all Health and Safety rules.

Applicants must hold a Counterbalance license, we will also accept any Teletruck licenses!

Experience in a similar role is essential - we require at least 1 year actively driving as a Counterbalance Driver, Counterbalance FLT operative certificates should be from a recognised training provider (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, TOPS, NPORS).

Opportunities to cross train onto Teletruck and other machinery.
