Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Counterbalance FLT Drivers in Harworth. The role is full-time with fixed shifts from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, at £13.13 per hour. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load/unload deliveries, move stock around the warehouse and yard, and perform daily safety checks.

Applicants must have a valid counterbalance forklift licence and prior forklift experience. PPE is provided and there is a temp-to-perm opportunity at Staffline, a leading UK recruitment solutions

Qualifications

• Applicant must hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence.
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift is required.
• Physically fit and able to work in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries and move stock around the warehouse and yard.
• Assist with loading/unloading vehicles and goods handling.
• Carry out daily forklift checks and report defects.
• Follow health and safety procedures and support general warehouse duties when needed.

The rate of pay is £13.13 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:

• 8am to 4pm

Your Time at Work

As a Counterbalance FLT Driver you will be responsible for:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving and storing stock around the warehouse and yard.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Ensuring goods are handled and stored correctly.
• Completing daily forklift checks and reporting any defects.
• Supporting general warehouse duties when required.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

What we're looking for:

• Happy to regularly operate a counterbalance forklift for extended periods.
• Occasional manual handling, including moving and positioning goods.
• Ability to work in a busy warehouse or yard environment.
• Comfortable standing and walking when completing warehouse duties.
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good attention to detail.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
