Job summary

Workchain is recruiting a Forklift Driver Counterbalance to join a client’s team in Lichfield. This permanent role requires a valid counterbalance forklift license and at least two years of industrial warehouse experience.

You will operate the forklift, load/unload vehicles, and help keep the warehouse organized and safe. Starting shifts are 18:00–20:30, Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings finishing the week.

Qualifications

• Valid counterbalance forklift license is required.
• 2 years of experience in an industrial warehouse environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move materials and products around the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Organizing and maintaining the warehouse space.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assisting with other warehouse duties as required.

Job Title: Forklift Driver Counterbalance

Location: Lichfield

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £14.50 per hour

Start times between 18:00 to 20:30, Monday to Friday, finishing the week Saturday morning. Shift Lengths roughly between 9-10 hours.

Temp to perm role, £14.50 per hour and then increased to £15 per hour once perm.

2 years experience required for this role.
