GI Group Main Account in Lichfield is recruiting a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse. The role focuses on safe, accurate stock handling with a counterbalance truck, loading containers, and picking/packing as part of daily duties.

The role is based on site in Lichfield (WS14), Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, paying £13.50 per hour. Candidates should have at least 12 months counterbalance forklift experience, be safety-minded, reliable, and able to work independently

Formación

• 12 months counterbalance forklift experience (essential).
• Confident, competent forklift operator with a strong focus on safety and care.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently on a PM shift.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move, store and pick stock safely and efficiently.
• Load containers correctly to maximise space and ensure secure, compliant loads.
• Work accurately to reduce damage to stock, racking and equipment.
• Support general warehouse duties as required, keeping the work area clean and safe.
• Please note this role will also involve picking and packing.

Forklift Counterbalance Driver - Lichfield WS14

We're recruiting a skilled

Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy operation in Lichfield. This is a great opportunity for someone confident on a counterbalance truck who takes pride in safe, accurate handling to minimise damage to stock and equipment.

Pay rate

£13.50 per hour

Monday to Friday

8:00am - 4.00pm

Key responsibilities

• Operating a

• Working accurately to reduce risk of
• damage to stock, racking and equipment
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required, keeping the work area clean and safe
• Please note this role will also involve picking and packing

What we're looking for

• 12 months' counterbalance forklift experience (essential)
• Confident, competent forklift operator with a strong focus on safety and care
• Experience using
• long fork attachments (highly desirable)
• Good understanding of
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on a PM shift

Please note this role is

50% Forklift, 50% general warehouse helping with wrapping and preparing parcels for dispatch, keeping areas tidy etc. 'in-house' certificates cannot be accepted
