Job summary

Workchain is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to support day-to-day warehouse and yard operations in Hereford. You will move, load and unload goods safely and help keep the site tidy and organized.

This temporary role offers day shifts, a minimum of 8 hours paid per shift, regular pay and the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift qualification is required.
• Recent experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
• Physically capable of working in a busy industrial environment.
• Good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and responsibly.

The role

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and responsibly
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock and materials around the site
• Checking goods for visible damage and reporting any issues
• Following site procedures, health and safety requirements and manual handling guidance
• Supporting the wider warehouse and transport team as required
