Job summary

Workchain in Warwick is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join its warehouse and logistics operation. This permanent daytime role offers regular pay, overtime, and a clear path to a long-term position.

You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load and unload vehicles, move stock, and keep accurate records. A valid forklift licence, reliable teamwork and good health and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently (loading/unloading).

Key responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Load and unload vehicles and move goods around the warehouse
• Place stock in designated storage locations and retrieve goods as required
• Support goods-in, goods-out and general warehouse activities
• Check loads and equipment before use
• Complete relevant warehouse paperwork and records accurately
• Follow site safety procedures and contribute to a tidy, organised workplace
• Work closely with colleagues to help meet daily operational requirements

Skills and qualifications

• A valid counterbalance forklift licence is required
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment is preferred
• Confident and safe forklift operation
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Physically able to carry out warehouse duties
• Good communication skills and a positive approach to work
