Job summary

Igloo Ltd is recruiting an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver for a busy Daventry warehouse. The role combines forklift operation, stock handling, and general warehouse tasks in a fast-paced logistics setting.

You will load/unload, scan goods, and assist with daily administration while maintaining high safety standards. On-site parking and weekly pay accompany a permanent logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate.
• Experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Reliable and punctual with good paperwork skills.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Daventry. This is a varied role combining forklift driving, warehouse duties, administration and manual handling within a fast-paced logistics environment.

The Role:

As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading trailers.
• Checking pick sheets and ensuring goods are processed correctly.
• Scanning bikes onto the relevant voyage using internal systems.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties and keeping the working area clean and organised.
• Litter picking and general housekeeping when required.
• Carrying out manual handling duties, including moving white goods such as washing machines and fridge freezers using a scan truck.
• Supporting the wider warehouse operation with any other ad hoc duties as required.
• Following all relevant health and safety procedures at all times.

The Person:

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate.
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Good attention to detail when completing paperwork and scanning goods.
• Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.

What We Offer:

• Weekly pay.
• £13.73 per hour between 06:00-19:59.
• £16.03 per hour for hours worked between 20:00-22:30.
