Job summary

Workchain is recruiting for a Forklift Driver (Counterbalance) in Chipping Sodbury on a permanent, dayshift basis. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load/unload goods, move stock, and ensure safe, compliant working practices on site.

Ideal candidates hold a valid counterbalance licence, have warehouse experience and can work independently while collaborating with colleagues to maintain safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence or recognised certificate.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Confident operating a counterbalance forklift and follow site procedures.
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently with others.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift in line with site procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles and move goods around the warehouse.
• Store materials accurately and support efficient stock movement.
• Complete routine checks on the forklift and report any defects.
• Follow health and safety requirements at all times.
