Job summary

Prime Appointments is recruiting for a Forklift Driver / Stores Operative in Mildenhall, Suffolk. This temporary role supports a busy manufacturing environment, with a 37.5 hour week and 08:00–16:00 shifts, Monday to Friday.

You will unload/load, handle deliveries, log ERP data, and help manage stock to keep production running smoothly. The role requires a valid Counterbalance or Flexi forklift licence, warehouse experience, and good numeracy and literacy.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance or Flexi forklift licence is essential.
• Warehouse or stores experience is desirable.
• Computer literate, able to use ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load lorries and vehicles using forklifts and pallet trucks.
• Occasional local driving for collections/deliveries.
• Check and record incoming deliveries in ERP system.
• Label, identify, and organise goods within the facility.
• Provide samples to the Quality team when required.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare shipments.
• Record issues against production jobs.

Join a growing manufacturing company in Mildenhall, Suffolk, as a Forklift Driver / Stores Operative. Working within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials and components are received, stored, and supplied efficiently to keep production running smoothly.

This is a temporary assignment with the potential for ongoing work and a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. You'll be joining a busy warehouse and production team where reliability, organisation, and attention to detail are essential.

The Pay & Hours:

£12.94 p/hour

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00, 37.5 hours/week

Role & Responsibilities:

• Unload/load lorries and vehicles using forklifts and pallet trucks
