Job summary

Prime-Appointments in Leiston is seeking a qualified Forklift Driver to join our team on a permanent basis after a 3-month trial period. You will operate a Counterbalance forklift, process goods inwards and outwards, and support stock control across the site.

The role offers 40 hours per week with immediate start, overtime opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package including 25 days holiday after probation. A reliable, detail‑oriented, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Full UK driving licence (or provisional with entitlement).
• Previous Milling, warehouse or stores experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Reliable and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Process goods inwards and outwards.
• Pick and pack parts accurately.
• Maintain stock accuracy and inventory records.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Transport materials throughout the warehouse and site.
• Collect parts and materials from local suppliers using company vehicles.
• Conduct regular stock checks and support stores operations.

Salary: GBP14.5 - GBP14.5 per hour

Location: Leiston, Suffolk
Pay: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent position following a successful 3-month temporary trial period

What We're Looking For:
