Job summary

We can SolviT Recruitment LTD is recruiting for a Counterbalance Operative in Leicester (LE5). Training runs Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00, after which shifts become 14:00–22:00. Role starts 2nd November and offers a temp-to-perm path with overtime and progression opportunities.

Salary is £13 per hour during training, with enhanced OT rates (£16.25p/hr Mon-Sat, £19.50p/hr Sun). Reliable transport is required due to site location.

Qualifications

• In date counterbalance certificate required.
• Experience in busy manufacturing environments preferred.
• Stable career history and reliability essential.

Responsibilities

• Move goods on trucks to designated areas, load vehicles (≈90%).
• Assist with scanning pallets and general warehouse duties (≈10%).

During training:

you will be working Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00, training can last 2 - 12 weeks, depending on how quick you pick it up.

What you will be doing

• 90% on the trucks moving goods to designated areas, loading vehicles
• 10% general warehouse duties such as scanning pallets and ensuring a clean environment

You will also get the opportunity down the line to be trained on new equipment.
