Job summary

Pertemps Maidstone is recruiting an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver for a Headcorn warehouse. This temporary-to-permanent role offers a starting pay of £13.40 per hour, increasing to £13.90, with PAYE via Pertemps. Rotating early/late shifts, rural location; own transport required.

Opportunity to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period. Full training and safety compliance expected; duties include loading/unloading and internal stock movement.

Qualifications

Location: Headcorn, Kent

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Hours: Rotating shifts - Week 1: 07:00-15:00 | Week 2: 15:00-23:00

We are recruiting an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver for our client's busy warehouse in Headcorn. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to secure a permanent role after a successful temporary period.

Forklift Driver Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading goods.
• Moving stock within the warehouse.
• Supporting general warehouse duties when required.

Forklift Driver Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Must have your own transport due to location.
• Ability to work on rotating shifts (early and late).
• Reliability and good attention to detail.
• Due to the rural location, candidates must drive and have access to their own vehicle.
