Job summary

Pertemps in Headcorn, Kent is recruiting an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver on a temp-to-perm basis. You will operate a Counterbalance forklift, load and unload goods, and move stock within the warehouse, with rotating shifts to cover early and late weeks.

Applicants must hold a valid Counterbalance forklift licence and have previous warehouse experience, plus their own transport due to the rural location. This role offers a path to permanent employment after the temporary period.

Forklift Counterbalance Driver wit PPT experience – Temp to Perm – Headcorn

Pay: £13.40 per hour rising to £13.90 per hour – PAYE via Pertemps

Location: Headcorn, Kent

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Hours: Rotating shifts – Week 1: 07:00–15:00 | Week 2: 15:00–23:00

Forklift Driver Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.

• Moving stock within the warehouse.
• Supporting general warehouse duties when required.

Forklift Driver Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Must have your own transport due to location.
• Ability to work on rotating shifts (early and late).
• Reliability and good attention to detail.

Due to the rural location, candidates must drive and have access to their own vehicle.
