Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a diligent FLT Counterbalance operator in Dudley Wood for a long-term, on-site role. You will operate FLT trucks, load/unload goods, stock production lines, and ensure accurate stock movement while maintaining a safe working environment.

Rotating double days with early and late shifts, weekly pay, and a supportive team. Prior licence and warehouse experience are essential for this stable, long‑term opportunity.

Qualifications

• Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance licence is essential.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT Counterbalance trucks safely following site procedures.
• Load and unload deliveries including raw materials and finished goods.
• Transport materials between warehouse, storage areas and production lines.
• Ensure production lines are stocked to avoid downtime.
• Stack and store pallets in designated locations including racking.
• Carry out daily FLT checks and report defects.
• Assist with goods-in and goods-out and verify deliveries against paperwork.
• Use scanners or basic systems to track stock movements.
• Support stock control including pallet counts and location checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Work to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Duties May Include:

• Operating FLT Counterbalance trucks safely in line with site procedures.
• Loading and unloading deliveries, including raw materials and finished goods.
• Transporting materials between warehouse, storage areas, and production lines.
• Ensuring production lines are consistently stocked to avoid downtime.
• Stacking and storing pallets in designated locations, including racking systems.
• Carrying out daily FLT checks and reporting any defects.
• Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes, including checking deliveries against paperwork.
• Using scanners or basic systems to track stock movements (where applicable).
• Supporting stock control, including pallet counts and location checks.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Working to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Hours of Work (Rotating Double Days):

• Earlies: Monday to Thursday: 5:40am to 1:50pm and Friday: 5:40am to 11:30am
• Lates: Monday to Thursday: 1:40pm to 9:50pm and Friday: 11:20am to 5:10pm

Pay Rates:

• £12.71 per hour (first 12 weeks)
• Increasing to £14.73 per hour after 12 weeks
