Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for our warehouse in Clevedon, BS21. This is a temporary ongoing role with both day and afternoon/evening shift options.

You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load/unload goods, and support general warehouse duties while following health and safety procedures. Transportation to site is required.

Qualifications

• Valid external Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
• Previous counterbalance forklift experience preferred.
• Warehouse experience advantageous.
• Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely within the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods as required.
• Move and store stock across the warehouse.
• Prepare materials and goods for dispatch.

Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Clevedon, BS21

Job Type: Temporary – Ongoing

Pay: £16.00–£17.00 per hour

Role: Warehouse & Counterbalance Forklift Driver

We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team in Clevedon, BS21, on a temporary ongoing basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently, as well as carrying out general warehouse duties.

Shift Options

Afternoon/Evening Shift – £17.00 per hour

• Monday to Thursday: 14:30 – 00:30
• Thursday finish: 00:00

Day Shift – £16.00 per hour

• Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 14:15
• Friday: 06:00 – 11:30

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely within the warehouse
• Loading and unloading goods
• Moving and storing stock around the warehouse
• Preparing materials and goods for dispatch
• Carrying out general warehouse duties
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organised

Requirements

• Valid external Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential
• Previous counterbalance forklift experience
• Warehouse experience preferred
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have transportation to get there

This is a temporary ongoing position.
