The Best Connection in Colnbrook, Slough is recruiting a Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a busy warehouse operation. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load and unload deliveries, and move stock around the site to designated locations.

Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, you will support day-to-day warehouse tasks, assist with stock control, and help maintain a safe, orderly environment. Temp-to-perm opportunity with weekly pay and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential.
• Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reach forklift experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Colnbrook

Location: Colnbrook, Slough

Pay: £12.71 - £14.00 per hour, dependent upon experience.

Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy and well-established warehouse operation based in Colnbrook, Slough.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for long-term, stable employment, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am - 5:30pm
• No weekend or night shifts.

The Role

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse.

Your duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving stock, pallets and materials to the correct locations.
• Receiving and checking incoming stock.
• Assisting with inventory management and stock control.
• Moving goods around the warehouse and supporting day-to-day operations.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties when required.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.

Please note: This is a hands-on, physically active role, so candidates must be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment and carrying out general warehouse duties alongside forklift work.

Requirements
