Job summary

OA Group is advertising a full-time Counterbalance Forklift Driver in Harlow. The role offers daytime hours, with a pay rate of £13.50 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30am–4:00pm).

The successful candidate will operate a counterbalance forklift, load/unload vehicles and keep the area safe and organized. You must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate and have proven forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Counterbalance forklift.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles and move stock around the site.
• Carry out daily forklift checks and report any faults.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client's busy operation in Harlow.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous forklift experience who is looking for a Monday to Friday role with regular daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock and materials around the site
• Ensuring goods are stored safely and correctly
• Supporting the warehouse and production teams as required
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Carrying out daily checks on the forklift
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift
• Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate
• Have good awareness of health and safety
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Be comfortable working in a busy industrial environment
• Have good communication skills
• Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
