Job summary

Placr Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with a current forklift licence to join a busy team in Shoreham-by-Sea, United Kingdom. The role offers a secure, long-term opportunity with a company that values its people and provides overtime opportunities.

You will pick, pack, load/unload deliveries, operate a counterbalance forklift, manage stock in the warehouse and ensure accurate despatch of orders. A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to read delivery notes and handle stock.
• Basic computer skills and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Load and unload deliveries safely.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and confidently.
• Move and store stock in correct locations.
• Prepare orders for courier collection and despatch.
• Maintain accurate stock records in the Warehouse Management System.
