Job summary

Placr Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with a current forklift licence to join a busy team in Shoreham-by-Sea, United Kingdom. The role offers a secure, long-term opportunity with a company that values its people and provides overtime opportunities.

You will pick, pack, load/unload deliveries, operate a counterbalance forklift, manage stock in the warehouse and ensure accurate despatch of orders. A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Role

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries safely.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and confidently.
• Move and store stock in the correct warehouse locations.
• Prepare completed orders for courier collection.
• Attach shipping labels and ensure orders are correctly despatched.
• Use the Warehouse Management System to maintain accurate stock records.
• Carry out manual handling and general warehouse duties.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly.

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical and enjoys being part of a team.

You will ideally have:

• Previous warehouse experience.
• A full UK driving licence.

• Confidence reading delivery notes and handling stock.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use warehouse systems.
