Job summary

The Best Connection Employment Group is seeking FLT drivers in the Braunstone area to join an ongoing team with a view to permanency after a successful trial period.

You will operate Counterbalance and Reach trucks on LPG, locate pallets up to 2 meters from a conveyor into the warehouse, and assist with loading/unloading deliveries. Two weeks of paid training on a 06.00-14.00 shift are provided before starting on the agreed shift.

Qualifications

• Experience operating counterbalance and reach trucks in a warehouse environment.
• Preference for valid driving licence is an advantage.
• Willingness to complete two weeks of paid training before starting.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and Reach trucks (LPG) to move pallets up to 2 meters high.
• Locate pallets from conveyor belts into the warehouse; load and unload deliveries.
• Work on shifts with paid training prior to start; adhere to health and safety guidelines.

Job description

Salary: GBP13.59 - GBP18.45 per hour

Our client based in Braunstone is looking for FLT drivers to join their team in ongoing positions with a view to becoming permanent following a successful trial period. You will be working in a clean well lit and well laid out warehouse. You will be working on both Counterbalance (single and double handlers) and Reach trucks. All trucks are LPG. Duties will include locating pallets of up to 2 meters tall from a conveyor belt into the warehouse with pallets stacked up to 9 meters high and loading and unloading deliveries. This is a full FLT Role with no hand ball. Successful applicants will be required to undertake 2 weeks of paid training on a 06.00-14.00 shift from Monday – Friday prior to starting on the agreed shift. A driving licence is advantageous for this role as this opens up further opportunities for more qualifications.

Hours and pay

• 14.00-22.00 Mon-Fripaid at £13.59 per hour
• 4 on 4 off nights working 18.00-06.00 paid at 14.76 per hour
