Job summary

RIS in Peterlee is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our on-site team. You will work 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with either day or afternoon shifts and a 20% afternoon premium on top of base rates.

Roles include operating counterbalance and various MHEs, with opportunities for monthly bonuses and on-site gym access. The job offers free parking and access to Randstad Flexible Benefits, plus employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of FLT/Forklift Truck operating experience.
• Counterbalance licence (can be out of date).

Responsibilities

• Operating counterbalance truck efficiently and safely.
• Using other MHEs such as reach, flexi, pedstacker, bradshaw, linde, hilop and combi.
• Replenishing lines, offloading wagons and picking parts from the warehouse.

Job description

Salary: GBP14.13 - GBP16.22 per hour + bonus and shift allowance

The Role:

Forklift Operator

Location:

Peterlee (On-site)

Working Hours:

36.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Excellent Pay Rates: (4% pay increase from 1st October)

Afternoon Shift (20% premium):

£16.96 -£19.46 per hour

Shift Timings:

Days: 08:00 – 16:00 (Mon-Thurs), 08:00 - 12:30 (Fri)

Afternoons: 16:00 – 00:00(Mon-Thurs), 12:30 - 17:00 (Fri)

Nights: 00:00 – 08:00 (Mon-Thurs), 17:00 - 21:30 (Fri)

What You'll Need:

At least1 year of FLT/Forklift Truck operating experience.
