Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting FLT drivers for a client based in Braunstone, Leicester. You will work in a clean, well-lit warehouse operating Counterbalance and Reach trucks, with LPG forklifts.

Duties include locating pallets from a conveyor into the warehouse and loading/unloading deliveries, with pallets up to 2 meters high from the conveyor and up to 9 meters high stacked. Two weeks of paid training on a day shift, Monday to Friday, before starting on the agreed shift.

Qualifications

• FLT driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of counterbalance and reach trucks.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client based in Braunstone is looking for FLT drivers to join their team in ongoing positions with a view to becoming permanent following a successful trial period. You will be working in a clean well lit and well laid out warehouse. You will be working on both Counterbalance (single and double handlers) and Reach trucks. All trucks are LPG. Duties will include locating pallets of up to 2 meters tall from a conveyor belt into the warehouse with pallets stacked up to 9 meters high and loading and unloading deliveries. This is a full FLT Role with no hand ball. Successful applicants will be required to undertake 2 weeks of paid training on a #removed# shift from Monday - Friday prior to starting on the agreed shift. A driving licence is advantageous for this role as this opens up further opportunities for more qualifications.

Hours and pay

• #removed# Mon-Fri paid at £13.59 per hour
• 4 on 4 off nights working #removed# paid at 14.76 per hour
