Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd is recruiting a Forest School Teacher for an Alternative Provision setting in the Bexhill area. The role involves planning and delivering Forest School and outdoor learning activities to support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs.

You will lead and develop an engaging programme, build positive relationships, manage behaviour, and work with staff to promote confidence, resilience and independent learning.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Forest School or outdoor learning programmes.
• Experience working with children or young people, including SEND/ SEMH contexts.
• Strong behaviour management and relationship‑building skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Forest School and outdoor learning sessions
• Develop and lead the Forest School provision
• Support pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs
• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
• Encourage confidence, resilience and independence
• Use practical and outdoor activities to engage pupils who may struggle in a traditional classroom
• Promote positive attitudes towards learning and personal development
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures
• Adapt activities to meet individual pupil needs
