Job summary

Beer52 is seeking a Supply & Demand Planner to own short and long-range forecasts, aligning seasonal patterns and marketing activity to determine optimal purchasing volumes across beer, wine, whisky and coffee lines. You will build monthly themes, break plans into fortnightly production schedules with our 3PL partner, and report stock status with clear visuals.

You will collaborate with the Supply Chain Director and Operations Manager to reduce excess stock and improve forecasting accuracy,

Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning or forecasting, ideally in FMCG, food and drink or e-commerce.
• Highly numerate with advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Able to turn data into clear, visual reporting for the wider business.

Responsibilities

• Take account of current and future stock to create short, full-theme and long-range forecasts and demand plans.
• Collaborate with marketing to reflect plans in forecasting.
• Drive commercial opportunities through timing of themes with Head Buyers and ensure stock availability.
• Submit purchasing volumes for subscription and shop via S&OP process with sign-off from the Supply Chain Director.
• Report on stock levels, weekly progress on reducing excess and upcoming risks.
• Plan production with 3PL to minimise delays in dispatch.
• Plan brew and drawdown schedules for Welcome Box and non-core items; manage packaging and snacks.
• Identify opportunities to sell surplus stock through other Beer52 channels.
• Deliver peak forecasts and forward plans to manage volume increases.
