Job summary

Harnham is seeking an Omnichannel Forecasting Analyst in London to own sales and margin forecasting across retail and e-commerce. You will work with cross-functional teams to inform trading, budgeting and operational planning.

The role focuses on delivering accurate forecasts, identifying opportunities and collaborating with finance, supply chain and commercial teams to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Strong forecasting, commercial analytics, merchandising, or related analytical role.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex datasets and deliver actionable insights.
• Strong commercial awareness of sales, margin, and KPIs.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, consumer, or omnichannel environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication, including presenting to senior audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced commercial setting.
• Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Build sales forecasts across retail stores using drivers like traffic, conversion and average transaction value.
• Produce detailed e-commerce forecasts for daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning cycles.
• Forecast sales and margin to support trading decisions, budgeting and financial planning.
• Translate forecasts into operational demand forecasts for supply chain and resource planning.
• Lead forecasting reviews with senior stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Deliver ad hoc analysis to identify commercial opportunities and improve performance.
• Support promotional, pricing and loyalty strategies through robust margin forecasting.
• Partner with commercial, finance, supply chain and BI teams to improve forecasting accuracy.

The Role

As an Omnichannel Forecasting Analyst, you will take ownership of sales and margin forecasting across retail and e-commerce operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building sales forecasts across retail stores using key performance drivers such as traffic, conversion, and average transaction value.
• Producing detailed e-commerce forecasts across daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning cycles.
• Forecasting sales and margin performance to support trading decisions, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Translating sales forecasts into operational demand forecasts to support supply chain and resource planning.
• Leading forecasting reviews with senior stakeholders, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
• Delivering ad hoc analysis to identify commercial opportunities and improve performance.
• Supporting promotional, pricing, and loyalty strategies through robust margin forecasting.
• Partnering with commercial, finance, supply chain, and business intelligence teams to improve forecasting accuracy and business outcomes.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in forecasting, commercial analytics, merchandising, revenue growth management, or a related analytical role.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and deliver actionable insights.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales, margin, and key performance metrics.
• Experience working within a retail, e-commerce, consumer, or omnichannel environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting findings to senior audiences.
