Job Title: Forecast & Insight Analyst
Location: Basingstoke – Hybrid (3 days p/w)
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £48,000 (Dependent on Experience)
As a Forecast & Insight Analyst in the Resource Planning Department, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse data and generate insights that inform strategic decisions. You will develop and maintain forecasting models, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance our operations. Collaborating with various departments, you will ensure that our strategies are data-driven and aligned with our business goals. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in delivering accurate and meaningful insights that support our growth and success.
•Delivering tactical analysis to support enhanced business decision-making and provide accurate forecasts.
• Utilising the most appropriate data analysis techniques and tools to deliver actionable forecasting intelligence efficiently.
•Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business to link Customer Operations and Commercial performance.
• Conducting rigorous data analysis, applying analytical methodologies to convert complex data sets into visual, interactive formats such as graphs, charts, and maps for senior and executive stakeholders.
• Using statistical models to understand customer demand and preferred channels.
•Performing analysis to quantify business initiatives, identify tangible benefits of business changes, and highlight improvement opportunities.
•Creating and providing interactive dashboards, deriving actionable insights for both technical and non-technical users.
• Monitoring workload and efficiency performance at agent, department, and functional levels, as well as budget performance.
•Preparing reports and analysing trends using SQL, Power BI, and MS Office applications for various audiences.
• Contributing to the Data Tower by identifying data quality issues and suggesting improvements to the data structure within the Data Warehouse (DAVE).
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server; knowledge of Power BI and/or Crystal Reports is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work proactively and independently to meet stakeholder needs.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and issues and develop timely solutions.
• Lateral thinking skills to see connections between behaviours and trends in business information, aligned with operational and strategic objectives.
• High accuracy and attention to detail, with an analytical approach and a desire for continuous innovation.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Structured, accurate, and planned approach to tasks.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data and concepts into easy-to-understand formats.
