Job summary

Norwich City Football Club is seeking a Business Operations Assistant to join the Football Development department. You will support the operational delivery of our programmes and player pathway across multiple regions.

The role works with the Head of Football Development and Regional Leads, handling administration, registrations, safeguarding and event delivery, with occasional evening visits to centres. A hands-on, proactive mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Administration or operations background required.
• Highly organised, communicates well, takes ownership of work.
• Passion for football and development of children/youth is valued.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of the Football Development player pathway across multiple regions (Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Surrey).
• Work with Regional Leads to run Development and Advanced Centre programmes.
• Support player administration, registrations and offer letters; maintain programme data.
• Support communication with players, parents, coaches and staff.
• Assist with recruitment of coaches and staff across Football Development.
• Coordinate onboarding of new coaches with HR for smooth processes.
• Help oversee safeguarding and player welfare within Football Development.
• Support organisation and delivery of fixtures, tournaments and events.
• Organise and run Football Development department holidays camps and after-school clubs.
• Lead delivery of the HAF programme across three Cambridgeshire venues.
• Provide wider operational support to Head of Football Development and department.
