Purpose

To carry out PPM, reactive, and breakdown works on all Electrical/Mechanical systems within designated sites. Engineers should have relevant knowledge of Air conditioning, UPS, Generators, LV systems, and be capable of fault finding using graphical information and current alarm data.

As a Foot Mobile Engineer, you will manage engineering assets to support the business with minimal disruptions, handle reactive work requests efficiently, and develop tools to report on asset and building performance, recommending improvements.

Working Pattern

Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Ensure routine PPM is performed on electrical and mechanical plant according to schedules and asset lists.
2. Complete reactive tasks promptly and proactively identify areas for improvement, including store and fabric-related issues.
3. Quickly address plant faults and defects to maintain operational order.
4. Maintain adequate spares inventory, provide parts estimates, and carry out remedial works efficiently.
5. Keep the Computer-Based Maintenance system (e.g., Concept, Smart Hub) updated and close tickets accurately.
6. Complete all paperwork related to reactive and breakdown works promptly for contract administration.
7. Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safety.
8. Keep plant rooms secure, clean, and tidy at all times.

Requirements

• Formal training in electrical or mechanical engineering to City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 2/3.
