Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a foot-mobile role covering central London sites including The City, Canary Wharf and the West End.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and general building services, travelling between sites with a Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 schedule. The package includes £48,000 base salary, travel benefits, overtime, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven commercial building maintenance experience.
• Good electrical fault-finding ability.
• Multi-skilled with understanding of mechanical building services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs.
• Lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution and small electrical works.
• Carry out basic mechanical maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps and motors.
• Monitor plant and equipment through the BMS.
• Escort and oversee specialist subcontractors.

Do you have experience working within commercial buildings?

Are you looking for a foot-mobile position offering £48,000 plus travel and overtime?

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Foot Mobile Engineer to join a leading FM service provider, covering a portfolio of commercial buildings across The City, Canary Wharf and the West End.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working across multiple sites rather than being based in one building. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and general building services.

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 17:00

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs.
• Lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution and small electrical works.
• Carry out basic mechanical maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps and motors.
• Monitor plant and equipment through the BMS.
• Carry out landlord and tenant maintenance where required.
• Identify faults and ensure plant remains operational.
• Assist with basic plumbing and fabric maintenance.
• Escort and oversee specialist subcontractors.
• Maintain site logbooks and compliance documentation.
• Liaise professionally with clients and building occupiers.
• Ensure works are completed in line with health & safety procedures.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Proven commercial building maintenance experience.
• Good electrical fault-finding ability.
• Multi-skilled with a good understanding of mechanical building services.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Comfortable travelling between sites across Central London.
• Able to provide copies of relevant trade qualifications.
