Job summary

Asda is seeking a Foodhall Manager in Shirley to lead day-to-day operations across Fresh and Ambient departments. You will ensure top availability, strong shop-floor standards, and full compliance with safety and legal requirements, while driving collaboration across Foodhall and Night teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge on food or non-food departments.
• Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
• Strong organisational skills and great customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of all areas of the Fresh and Ambient departments in store.
• Deliver the best availability and highest shop floor standards through brilliant execution.
• Ensure the store is safe and legal for customers and colleagues.
• Encourage collaborative teamwork across all Foodhall and Night team departments.
• Plan and execute trading activity on the shopfloor to drive the selling agenda.
